I am glad you asked us that question. When you decide you want to be an ebook reader then you need to decide what to purchase. The google app neccesary to read the Google eBooks we sell works on most eReaders except for Amazon's Kindle. So my advise is use the machine best suited to how you use technology. If you already have an iphone or droid phone then all you need is the free Google app. If you think a tablet might be handy around the house get an iPad. If all you want is a reader get the well reviewed Sony Nook.
