Margie's Book Nook has humble roots as a tiny used books store where books could be traded in and the credits used to "purchase" our books. Twenty eight years have brought alot of changes to the world and to Margie's Book Nook and yet we still accept your books in trade for some of ours along with a small service fee and the taxes for the great state of California. Your books need to be paperbacks in good condition and hardcovers with their original dustjacket. We do not need Reader's Digest books or textbooks. We have the right to refuse any item for credit and do so when we don't think the book will sell. If you are bringing more than one box call (530) 257-2392 during business hours to set up a time to drop off.
Along with the large selection of used books Margie's Book Nook has a large selection of new books from bestsellers, to an exhaustive local history section. We are also proud of our selection of new children's books, cook books, and natural history to name but a few. If we don't carry it we offer a variety of ways to special order it.
